Medical and health professions education

Description
I have several research interests in public health and medical & health professions education. The common aspect to all my projects is the focus on being evidence-based… be it in medicine/practice or in education. My projects in public health aim to examine which interventions are effective – for example, should we be screening men for prostate cancer? My medical and health professions research aims to better understand how we teach, how do we design effective assessments, can we predict student performance… I use a variety of data collection approaches including quantitative and qualitative designs, and work with a variety of stakeholders, nationally and internationally. I look forward to discussing with you some potential projects in this space!
