Description
Cancer Australia has developed an Optimal Care Pathway (OCP) for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with cancer. The recommendations in this document cover the whole cancer journey, from presentation and early detection through to end-of-life care. Consideration of cultural safety is key to implementing the OCP for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with cancer. This project will focus on identifying and responding to workforce, system, patient and family needs across different steps of people’s cancer journeys.
