Employability of health graduates

Most students enter university to enhance their job prospects, yet many graduates find securing employment after their degree challenging. Universities are focusing on improving graduate work readiness -- particularly for degrees without compulsory work placements or typical career pathways, such as in public health, health and biomedical sciences. Given the changing nature of work and learning, I have a number of research projects that aim to understand and improve the employability of our graduates. The research projects utilise quantitative and qualitative methods among various stakeholders, including students, alumni, academics, professional staff, employers and industry. I welcome honours or short terms research placement students (e.g. PBH3006, BMS3990, or summer placements) to assist with these projects.
