Description
We offer students an exciting opportunity to undertake clinical translational research to improve women’s health. Our research programme focuses on the genital microbiota of individuals and their partners, its impact on sexual and reproductive health and understanding the factors that result in an optimal or non-optimal genital microbiota. Students have an opportunity to undertake clinical and epidemiological research and to participate in interventional studies aimed at promoting a genital microbiota associated with optimal sexual reproductive health. Students interested in potential projects can contact us: catriona.bradshaw@monash.edu, lenka.vodstrcil@monash.edu and erica.plummer@monash.edu. All projects involve the opportunity to publish a research paper in a peer reviewed scientific journal.
