Description
Objective: The relationship between neurodivergence and eating disorders is an emerging area of interest. This study aims to measure the prevalence of comorbid ADHD in a population of adolescents and adults with AN.
Method: Participants recruited into a study on AN, whose diagnosis has been confirmed with the SCID will also have a SCID assessment to see if they meet diagnostic criteria for ADHD. A sub analysis will also be conducted to see if there are other common factors that predict which patients are more likely to have a comorbid diagnosis. These factors include:
• Subtype of AN
• A comorbid diagnosis of ARFID
• BMI
