Description
Extracellular vesicles are nano-size biological messengers. Their cargo reflects the donor cell physiology and varies depending on cellular behaviour. These properties can be taken advantage of to utilise in disease diagnosis and in manipulating the donor cells to achieve appropriate cargo for therapeutic application.
This project will utilise human tissue processing to isolate endometrial mesenchymal stem cells, cell culture, and isolation of extracellular vesicles, characterising them for their distinct identity.
