Mobile Imaging

Description
The aim of this project is to assess the need for mobile imaging. The PhD project will focus on x-rays and ultrasound. The study will perform a data-based analysis of patients undergoing care in the ED department of health services. We will identify the key parameters that can determine if a patient could have received a mobile image instead of going to the ED department. An additional area of this research will examine the health economics of mobile imaging to assess whether this approach is comparable in terms of cost to having patients attend the ED department.
