Description
Imagine a world where every expecting mother has access to accurate and reliable information about exercising during pregnancy. A world where she can make informed decisions about her health and well-being, and that of her unborn child.
But what if the information available is incomplete, outdated, or just plain wrong? What if the resources she turns to for guidance are not trustworthy, and could potentially put her and her baby at risk? What if health professionals do not feel ready and equipped to talk about physical activity during pregnancy?
You can help ensure that the information available to expecting mothers is of the highest quality and accuracy. You can help give them the confidence to make informed decisions about their health, and to have a safe and happy pregnancy.
Whether you're interested in women's health or exercise science, this project offers a unique chance to explore your interests and develop your research skills. I'm looking for students who are passionate about making a difference, and who are eager to learn and grow. We'll work together to tailor your project to our shared interests and goals, and identify the best team to support you, including any additional supervisors or mentors.
