How do maternal and perinatal outcomes vary by model of care.

Description
Maternity care in Victoria is provided under a number of models of care. Model of care has recently been added to the data provided on all births in Victoria. This project will use epidemiological methods to examine variation in outcomes by model of maternity care during pregnancy as well as the model of care for labour and birth. This project uses epidemiological methods to examine a number of maternal and neonatal outcomes according to the model of antenatal care and intrapartum care. The data will be available and will require manipulation and analysis. The project will suit students interested in the impact of different models of maternity care and keen to develop skills in data management and analysis, as well as writing the results for publication.
