Description
Active involvement of people with lived experience or patients (consumers) to improve healthcare services and health and medical research is fundamental to systemwide healthcare change. Known as Consumer and Community Involvement (CCI), this space is a rapidly advancing field and we are undertaking significant work to embed genuine, best practice CCI in research and health services to deliver value and improved outcomes to our community.
This mixed methods project will involve mapping and developing an appraisal system for selecting quality resources related to support CCI in research and healthcare improvement. The work will contribute to a national knowledge hub that is being developed to support networking and adoption of consumer and community involvement.
