Multiple projects within clinical psychedelic research

Description
The Clinical Psychedelic Lab at Monash University is Australia's first psychedelic lab, and is pioneering a rigorous program of research and training in psychedelic therapies. The lab is focused on investigating novel applications for psychedelic therapies, translating evidence into best clinical practice, exploring and mitigating under-examined risks, delivering next-generation therapist training, and improving access and affordability. The Lab is led by Dr Paul Liknaitzky, and is part of the Department of Psychiatry within the School of Clinical Sciences. We are closely affiliated with the School of Psychological Sciences at Monash University. We can supervisor student research projects within experimental psychology, clinical psychology, psychiatry, mental health research, and related disciplines. For some ideas about current, forthcoming, and potential projects, see our lab site, including the future projects sections within this page: https://www.monash.edu/medicine/scs/clinical-psychedelic-lab/support-us We have conducted clinical trials using psilocybin, MDMA, and 5MeO-DMT for depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress, and other mental health conditions. We're a warm and ambitious group of researchers and clinicians working to develop and test best practice across multiple psychedelic therapies and for a number of different mental health conditions. There are various active and upcoming projects within the group. For more information, please visit https://www.monash.edu/psychedelics Apply to study with us in the usual way.
