Description
The Optimise Study is a multiplatform study exploring the impact of COVID-19 on the community; this includes assessing the communities understanding of COVID-19, the impact of government restrictions (eg masks, quarantine, isolation, restrictions on household numbers), testing and vaccine uptake.
The Optimise Study uses a multidisciplinary approach to explore these issues; this includes collecting monthly data and diary information from a longitudinal cohort study of over 500 community members, including information on participants social networks, qualitative exploration of critical issues and direct community engagement through co-design and community workshops and modelling.
Opportunities are available for PhD, masters and honours projects. Contact Prof Hellard to discuss potential projects that can be adapted to meet a persons interests in quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, community engagement, health policy and modelling.
