Topography of metastases in the brain

Description
The location of brain metastases and tumor in the brain may yield clue to how tumors are formed. Our group has performed extensive work on brain mapping and have created location of sanctuary sites in the brain. https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/STROKEAHA.123.046083. These sites have abundance of blood supply, less prone to stroke but may be more prone to deposits of tumor. The student will learn to work on brain images in R or Python programming languages.
